How-To Guide
- Choose a grant. Open the Grant Directory. Read its purpose and application window.
- Apply with the funder. Application details opens the official funder website in a new tab. Read the project requirements first; the funder may require an account. Closed programs show their next published window instead.
- Keep your progress. Sign in through Admin Login to save grants and record your stage, notes, and next date. Opening an application does not mark it submitted.
- See your applications. The Application Pipeline shows saved grants and work in progress. Deadlines & Calendar lets you download dates to your calendar.
- Back up your work. Use Admin Login to access shared progress. Your email and password protect your team’s saved grants and application notes. Download backups before importing earlier work.
Before applying, confirm the applicant’s legal status, service area, program fit and financial documentation. Do not infer eligibility from an organization’s name. If the applicant is exempt from filing Form 990, ask the funder whether alternative documents are accepted. Listing is not confirmation that a particular organization is eligible.
Open Menu takes you to any section. Close Section returns to the dashboard and opens the menu. Team progress is shared after signing in. Reload team progress to see a teammate’s latest changes. If two people save at once, the older version is blocked to protect newer work.
Florida grant search review
Zeffy returned 212 listings for Florida with Employment & Workforce, Homelessness and Veterans selected on October 30, 2026. We screened that list and checked promising leads against funder guidance. These are not 212 verified eligible grants: the results include duplicate or mismatched foundation names, restricted regions, specialist programs and unverified application routes.
The directory contains supported prospects and clearly marked inquiry or future-cycle routes. MaryEllen Willis (Northeast Florida), Cathleen McFarlane (Palm Beach County), First Horizon’s listed Florida counties (not Polk) require checking each applicant’s service area; they are not unrestricted Central Florida opportunities. Singing for Change needs further review of its basic-needs and applicant criteria; the name Ministries alone does not establish ineligibility. Unverified leads are not counted as eligible grants.

Bank and retailer review
Reviewed October 30, 2026. Existing funder records were refreshed without removing saved progress. PNC supports housing and employment as well as early childhood education. Bank of America’s 2026 cycles are closed; Truist’s next cutoff is November 30.
TD’s 2027 Housing for Everyone, regional and capacity-building guidelines exclude religious organizations. Housing for Everyone offers $500,000 and closes November 24 at 4 p.m. ET, and is now retained as a potential shelter opportunity. Confirm how TD classifies the applicant and whether the proposed housing-and-employment program meets its criteria before applying. TD guidelines ↗
U.S. Bank’s 2026 funded communities do not include Florida. No current open Kohl’s Florida grant or Home Depot $5,000 Community Impact application was verified. Lowe’s Community Impact replaces the Hometowns name; its 2026 cycle is closed. These findings prevent obsolete programs from appearing as open grants. Store gift-card and product inquiries are labeled in-kind support.
GrantWatch searches & review
Reviewed November 3, 2026. GrantWatch is a discovery directory, not a grantmaker. Public summaries were screened for shelter, employment, healthcare and veteran services; many full listings require a paid subscription. We did not access subscriber-only details. Official sources were used for added programs; listing is not confirmed eligibility.

New leads: Make Sense Foundation and Chapman Foundation. Supplemental official-source research added two Elks partnership routes and AAFP clinic-equipment support. Existing Fisher Service Awards and Bob Woodruff entries were refreshed. Invitation, geography, physician participation and financial-document requirements remain visible in each entry. Projected directory dates are not treated as confirmed application windows.
